Desktop tool and IDE setup
Cursor, Cherry Studio, and WorkBuddy can use the OpenAI-compatible API. The standard Base URL is https://api.51cowork.com/v1; see the table for each tool’s address format.
Set the endpoint, API Key, and model ID from /v1/models in the tool’s model settings. Check automatic path handling and keep Keys out of Git.

- 1Open the provider or API settings.
- 2Enter the OpenAI Base URL: https://api.51cowork.com/v1.
- 3Paste the current full Key from Dashboard.
- 4Test with an ID returned by /v1/models.
- 5Disable Prompt and Authorization logging.
VS Code extensions
Extensions differ in Base URL field names, automatic /v1 appending, and Responses support. Choose one that explicitly supports a custom OpenAI endpoint and verify the final request URL.
